  • Over 15 years ago, when Daniel set out from Australia in pursuit of his career abroad, he knew little of his multi-talented relatives, on the other side of the pond. With a surname like Koek, Daniel's Dutch heritage led him to the Netherlands for a year, to be coached by an esteemed vocal tutor at the Conservatoire in Amsterdam, as one of the youngest members of the chorus, in the touring opera company at that time. It was here that Daniel learned that two of his cousins were both in the arts...one an awesome Ballet Dancer and the other a formidable singer in both Opera and Theatre.

Daniel and Susan had never met before, bring born and raised at completely different parts of the world, until Daniel came to London to start his career and contacted Susan. After they met, at a production of Phantom of the Opera in Stuttgart, where Susan was playing the role of Madame Giry, a family bond and friendship was ignited and they soon discovered they had both gone down the same paths of musical performance. This West End Sessions is a very special moment for them both, and will mark the first time they perform together, something they have talked about for many years.

Susan Rigvava-Dumas is a Dutch singer, based in Vienna, with a unique international career in which she has been able to for-fill her dreams.

Earlier this year, Susan performed in Amsterdam's Carre Theatre, as Desiree Armfeldt in “”A Little Night Music" from Steven Sondheim, which is has been nominated as one of the Best Musical Productions of the season, at this infamous theatre.

Trained as a classical singer at the Munich and in Salzburg, her beautiful and versatile singing voice allows her to perform in many different styles, and create many different & renowned roles.

She created the character of Mrs Denver in the world-premiere of the musical, Rebecca, and at the Raimond theatre, Theatre an der Wien and at The “Wiener Festwochen” in Vienna, she has performed various roles such as the Killerqueen in We Will Rock You, Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, for which she was Nominated for Best Principal Role Actress in the 2013 Austrian Music-theatre award and Rose in Gypsy.

  • It's hard to believe that 14 years ago when Daniel Koek moved to London to Persue his West End dreams he would be standing in the ballroom of buckingham palace, performing for His Royal Higness a highlights show of his musical theatre career.

This local boy from Gawler has a repertoire of leading roles under his belt most recently taking the stage as Jean Val Jean in the critically acclaimed Les Miserable! He has delighted the West End and the world with his powerhouse vocals and this year was honored to record the 'Royal Platinum Love song' which went to number 1 in the classical charts overnight, celebrating the Queen and Duke's 70th wedding anniversary. His most recent performance for HRH Prince Charles for the Inkind Direct charity in the dazzling surrounds of the palace sees Daniel top off a year of performance highlights!
